Project Description

Project is a 29,000 sf new building consisting of a new gymnasium with two (2) IHSA compliant basketball courts, a fitness mezzanine, suspended running track, and supporting rooms as a stand-alone precast building to supplement the Universal School. The building footprint is approximately 23,000 sf.  This project went through the traditional design-bid-build project for construction execution. 

Project Description

HOH provided full architectural and engineering design services of the technical training program through schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting and construction administration services.   All layouts/space planning, renderings, site work, site grading, site utilities, substructure, superstructure, interior construction, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical work included in the HOH’s work scope for design.  HOH was also responsible for coordinating permitting efforts with Village of Bridgeview and Chicago’s Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD).
