Skokie, IL

Scope of Work

The Village of Skokie needed to restore two entrance canopies located at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts in Skokie (NSCPAS). The existing canopy conditions were beginning to deteriorate and appear aged and outdated. Therefore, NSCPAS requested for the two entrance canopies to be designed with a new dynamic appearance along with their surroundings.

HOH Services consisted of the following:

  • Visual field survey to review and document the existing conditions of the building prior to providing design solutions.

  • Reviewed any available existing drawings or documents and prepared a report of our findings

  • Modeled existing buildings in 3D and established a BIM execution plan

  • Schematic design and design development

  • Developed construction documents and prepare for permit review
