Project Description
This project consisted of a $40 million new construction. 215,000 sf. 1600 students and faculty. 600 seat auditorium with orchestra pit, fly space, and scenery rigging system. Cafeteria and kitchen including 4 serving lines. Science and Physics classrooms and Laboratories. Language, CAD, and Computer Labs. Drama and Music departments. Culinary Arts classroom and commercial kitchen. Cosmetology classroom including commercial equipment. Machine, welding, electrical, and carpentry shops. Auto services and body shop including a separate spray booth. Two ADA compliant elevators. Two-story library and seminar hall. All classrooms are wired for cable TV and internet access. Scope of Work
HOH provided construction documents including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, data and communications, fire protection & safety. HOH services included:
Local School Conference (LSC) hearing participation. Computer generated color renderings for LSC hearing presentation.
Fixtures, Furnishings, and Equipment coordination wit6h Education-to-Careers (ETC) of the Chicago Public Schools.
Fiberglass reinforced gypsum (FRG) exterior 70-foot-high sculptural wall relief designed with community participation.
