Project Description

This project consisted of Phase I Project Report, Hydraulic Report, Contract plans, special provisions and quantities were prepared for the structure, and roadway improvements of IL 17/91 over Spoon River. The new bridge piers were realigned to accommodate the new alignment of the main channel of the river.

Scope of Work 

• Phase I documents were prepared which included the bridge condition report, hydraulic report, type, size and location drawing, environmental clearances, property owner coordination, and cost estimates.

• Work includes roadway plans, highway drainage design, erosion control plans, grading plans, typical sections, traffic staging plans, bridge design plans, landscaping plans (drafting only), pavement marking plans, cross sections and all other work required to complete the project in accordance with the Project Report. All plan sheets are based on the approved Phase I Report, anddeveloped in MicroStation V8 and GEOPAK.

• The structure work consists of preparation of a TS&L, SGR & Bridge Replacement Plans. HOH evaluates existing sub and super structure before design and before letting for staging adequacy.
